need wireless router for xbox LIVE, but i'm confused

Hi

it's now time to enter the xbox 360 LIVE arena but i'm really confused as to the amount of routers and how it all works

I need to share my broadband connection (BT voyager USB/ADSL modem) with the xbox 360. i've decided to go for a wireless connection.

is it true only certain types of router work with xbox live?

is this what i'm looking for? or is there better?

any help or guide would be great

you probably want to get a wired router if your gaming

yup

but any router should work if its correctly configured, I havent heard of any routers that flat out dont work with xboxlive

i got a linksys wrt54gsv4, i just turned wireless off and everything works fine

it works on live, but ive not tried yet thanks to monitor my xboxlive sub ran out :|

i use a wireless router and an access point and its fine for both streaming tv and playing online!
