Needing help lol

Hi,

looking to get my brother a gaming pc for christmas, i dont know very much about them. Was looking to see if someone would be able to help me out.

I know that he would be using it to edit videos, play games such as fortnite, rust, rainbow six siege etc. Looking for it to run at decent fps.

Would anyone be able to recommend if i would be best buying him a prebuilt unit or building my own? Looking to be in the 600-800 range if possible.

You'll get more for your budget if you build yourself... I'm sure you'll be OK with it, just take your time and keep referring to the manuals etc... Will you be needing a monitor and keyboard etc or just the tower?

A Ryzen 3600 build would do the job but if you can't spec one with the 3600 then just drop a Ryzen 2600 in and that will still be enough, the 3600 is 14% faster than older Gen.
