So one of our neighbours in this apartment block has a pretty meaty sound system - it doesn't really bother us, you can just hear the bass booming every now and again. Yesterday around 3.00pm he started watching The X-Files (you can hear the music clearly). We heard it finish and then another one started straight away. Then after that finished a third one started without pause. No biggy....he's a nerd having an X-Files marathon.
However, this went on all night - I went to sleep at around 1am to the sound of yet another episode starting. Now I've just got in from work today (4pm) and he's still going!!! Same story, one finishes and another starts instantly :confused:

I once watched 3 episodes of Buffy in a row and that was enough for me. This guy has been going 24 hours straight by the sound of it! I'm starting to think he's gone on holiday and left the DVD on repeat play or something.

Everywhere I go now I think I can hear the damn X-Files music :mad:

Guess I just had to vent :p
 
LOL. i usually do that.. I watched 24 series 1 in 3 days, and battlestar galactica series 1 in under a week... Also the first 5 series of x-files in under a month.. LOL.. If i get a series I have to watch it back to back then you dont forget whats happening..
 
Just make sure he doesnt have molda and skully locked up in his apartment and hes using the music to cover up the screams :p
 
Tbh mate, you'll find out sooner or later whats going on, the truth is out there.

I guess I'll keep you posted :)
 
But make sure you shout "Its agents Mulder & Scully" before you kick the door down. If he is inside, he might see the funny side of it and not go balistic when he see's the mess of his door.
 
lol I saw the Neighbour and the letter "x" in the same sentance and came in here to read about how ya neighbour was watching porn or something :p

When I've been on a marathon (i.e He-man DVDs, red dwarf etc) after one or two episodes I HAVE to fast-forward through the titles. I simply can't imagine this guy's been watching the intro to each episode every hour - he must be incapacitated in some way!! :eek:

I hope it doesn't contintue - for the sake of your sanity!
 
Update:

OK, it's coming up on 48 straight hours and this guy is still going :eek: We agreed last night that if it continued we would pop down and talk to the landlord. I'll be back later with an update ;)
 
rofl what a nutter maybe hes using the intro as a chance to take a pee and get some food. Altho id also be a bit worried in case its the same episode and he aint alright :s
