As an offshoot of the delightful thread about noisy children in gardens, does anyone else find trampolines in neighbour's gardens intrusive? Two of our three fence-sharing neighbours have children and the trampolines give them a direct line of sight into our garden and our kitchen. I don't care about the garden so much, but if I want to walk around naked in my kitchen I should be able to.

It's not even potential nudity, though, really. I really feel the neighbours should be putting up trellis or something so that their kids can't just watch you walking around your house.

Agree.

I had a neighbour once who we didn't get on with. He would go on the kids trampoline himself and stare into our garden and kitchen.
Very weird fella.

My next door neighbours are naturists, this caused quite a bit of excitement one hot day when the neighbour on the far side took the fence panels out to paint them and then had the grandkids over :D

I've got one in the garden. Only providing what I didn't have as a kid. I had a swing set but always wanted a trampoline as my friend had one. The little one hardly plays on it. Tbf the dogs get more enjoyment out of it :D

Some real kill Joy's on this forum, get some blinds if you want to walk around naked. Simples, let kids do kids stuff. Much better than been stuck on a video game indoors.

Trampolines get used a couple of times then that's it. Every parent I know is like this. We have had one in our garden for nearly ten years and I can count on one hand how many times it has been used for any real length. Missus will not let me take it down. At the moment it is storage for kids toys!

But were you naked?

At times probably although I never tended to be naked in the kitchen* when he would be on the trampoline.

* Typically I think its a pretty risky place to be naked personally but will often risk it putting the kettle on when I get up for the first cuppa in the morning.

Maybe that was it, he was desperate to see my man sausage!

We had potato guns when we were kids -anyone put their head up over fence got a bit of rotton spud in their chops.
Good old days

Fortunately the old people who live either side of me are same as us - Child free. -Wonderful.
Ahh the spud gun. What a thoroughly wonderful invention. So much fun times were had with them in my youth. Shame they seemed to lose popularity.

Get a set of binoculars and stare right back at them when they jump.

Or, just walk around in the buff.

Or go jump on the trampoline and stare at them whilst you're at it.

We've got one for our 6 year old, had it 3 years and he uses it anytime weather is nice enough to play outside. Set it up around April each year and dismantle it around early October. We've got it setup slightly to the side of the house so it wouldn't be intrusive to any neighbours. Did have it on the lawn for a while but had to keep moving it as the grass underneath suffered if it stayed in one spot too long.

yeah, sounds bad. However i do have a solution:

reminds me if this image:

hire your grandad/grandma to walk around laking basic clothing when they are on the trampoline . i can guarentee those kids will never want to go on that trampoline ever again
