Hi, I've got an Anyciubic Mega X.

Been working fine for a few years. Gone through a few hot ends, and replaced the extruder.

But now I've got an issue where it seems unable to get either the hot end (a relatively new one) or the bed up much beyond 100 (end) or 50 for the bed.

Is this likely due to a failing power supply? Or is there an energy distribution board that's failing?

The software / screen all seem to work fine.

Nope. I've opened it up and the only thing that's directly connected to both the hot end control board and the bed control board is the PSU. So, I've ordered a replacement (fortunately it's a generic mean well industrial power supply.)

If it's not, I don't think any of the boards are available anymore - so will have to get a new FDM printer.

I presume the PSU connects to a board which converts the power to the required voltage, there's a good chance one of those components could have failed if the PSU replacement doesnt' solve the problem.
