Neo2 Platinum - CMOS Checksum error - defaults loaded

I get this error whenever I turn on my new build (MSI Neo2 Platinum).

CMOS Checksum error - defaults loaded.
Press F1 to continue, or Del to enter Setup.

It's really annoying because it resets my BIOS settings, and I have to redo them everytime I turn the PC on.

Does anyone know why this is?

I'm using BIOS version 1.9.

try changing your CMOS battery it may not have enough charge to keep the settings in memory
