IMO, a geek is someone with an interest and average average knowledge of computers. A nerd however is more like the guys in The Big Bang Theory and pictured above

I on the other hand have never queued for an iPhone (or any launch product) nor got out of the house at midnight for a game.

The irony here is that we are all on a computer forum about OVERCLOCKING! One might argue those people in the photo is less nerd, more fashion victim.
