Yeah this. Android is more of a tinker's phone, where iOS 'just works'.

Never been to a midnight launch myself, although I hear that the World of Warcraft ones can get rather crazy.

I on the other hand have never queued for an iPhone (or any launch product) nor got out of the house at midnight for a game.

oh hell no! the closest I've ever got was buying the limited edition box for skyrim two days after launch. I couldn't wait long enough as I was really looking forward to the game. waiting time in queue = 10mins

I remember going to get iPad 1 at launch day. No reservation, no pre-order, friends says it couldn't be done as it was so hyped.

Lunch time, office 20 mins away from the Bullring. Walked there, straight in, paid and left. Back at my desk under an hour.
