Hi all, anyone know if nest heating is worth it, if just using a standard boiler and a megaflo water tank at all?
At the moment the heating and hot water are just on timers, so they come on first thing in the morning for an hour and a half, again for another hour and a half before we get home, then finally for an hour around 9pm. It keeps the house plenty warm and always have enough hot water.
As we've got the nest doorbell, cameras and the smoke alarms, wondered if it's worth having the whole hog. Also hate how the current thermostat looks as it's an old style non digital one.
So suppose question is, is there going to be any added benefits putting nest in, or just replace the bog standard ugly thermostat with something more new age?
