Nest Hello wiring sanity check

Thanks ill have a look, it would have handy to have if it wasn't all videos of wind. Are the nest app notifications per device or device wide? I have it off on my phone and don't get but I'll check the Mrs iPhone once up

I believe it'll notify every registered user unless you set some local change to turn notifications off.

I know notifications come through on both mine and the missus phone.

I have the nest subscription so can define areas. If anyone walks inside the grid I get a notification.

Not sure you should be getting them for wind though. There's a setting somewhere about people, so might need switching on.

Can't remember what you can and can't do without the subscription.

Installing a Nest Hello, but the house did not have an existing doorbell in place, so starting from scratch.

So from reading/watching install guides and wiring diagrams (it's quite a minefield!!). I've got the below theoretically drawn out:

The Nest Hello says it requires an 12-24V AC 8AV transformer, of which the BG bell transformer is 8-24V AC 8AV.

Before i buy the bell transformer and door chime, anyone able to confirm if my wiring above would be fine?

TIA!
I just wanted to say thanks.. I gave up on wiring my chime 2 years ago but thought I'd try this way 'just in case'.. it only bloody worked lol
