Hi All

Hoping for some guidance

Having had a look at my old thermostat, I only have L,N, 1 and 4 connected and ground, how will this work with nest gen 3?

I saw a post that said I should split the L into 3 and wire 1 of them into L and 2 of them into 2 & 5 is that needed in my instance?

Yeah pretty straight forward install.

L/N/E are simple.

Basically your 1 and 4 connection is a normally open switch that closes when the stat calls for heat which in turn fires up the boiler.

From a quick Google they would go into connections 2 & 3 on the nest.
