Netbook Capable of Playing Games

My nephew is after a netbook capable of playing games and has a strict budget of £300 - anything out there at the mo?

HP Mini 311c has nVidia ION Graphics so its capable of playing some games, better than most netbooks, 11.6" screen and there is a huge thread on these forums.

Itself is up for £300 on OcUK but personally, i would look around, they used to be much cheaper, not to deter you from purchasing from OcUK though, they are extremely reliable

I think lenovo just release their new netbook, the thinkpad something, anyhow it was on CES 2011 and won best netbook

looks good and i think its quite cheap, and i think its supposed to have good graphics as well, maybe look for some more information on that

yeah, look for the new Bobcat laptops. It's AMD's response to Atoms, and they seem all right.

HP has the new dm1 as well.

From what I've seen Ion still beats the new AMDs as far as graphics are concerned.
However I have the mini 311 and you get the feeling that the CPU is holding it back - the fusions good be a bit better balanced.

Or like the older 1201n.

I had a dv2 with and x2 1.6ghz and ati 3410 and it wasn't great. Couldn't run psx emu etc.

How about the ULV laptops like the Asus UL30 etc? mine plays footy manager 2011 fine.

Yeah, but no dedicated GPU. You'll need that if you're gonna do some gaming.

maybe a Acer 8371? dedicated HD 4330

4gb ram and a dual core cpu i think, but only a 1.4 SU9400 ?
