netbook keyboard issue

I have a little netbook that I spilt water on a month ago, the keyboard won't respond but, the rest is fie. Does this indicate a keyboard replacement would fix it?

Second question, what operating system would people reccomend to make it nippy? Cheers in advance!

Hi,

Yes replace the keyboard it should sort that out. Secondly what operating system was the netbook originally designed for?

What ever it maybe I would recommend windows 7 or windows 8.1 I find those two to be the best at the moment, I' am liking windows 8.1 at the moment its a lot faster and smooth and remember to download classic start shell along with it if you want the start menu back with it.

It has windows 7 starter but, is pretty slow. May need a fresh install to liven it up. Cheers!

A cheap SSD will help no end. I replaced my netbook's standard 500GB drive with my old 120GB Agility 3, flies along quite nicely now.
