Howdy,
Two months ago I bought myself an XFX Revolution sata controller which has 3 sata ports and supports a number of different raid options. I installed one drive and assigned it to its own array, and got it working in ubuntu. Now I would like to install a second drive but when I try to enter the bios option to build the other array, the control + n function to get into the cards bios menu does not work. The message to press the control + n key flashes up quickly (almost too quickly to see) and although Im pressing control + n, I have no luck. I have tried re-seating the card with a cold boot in between, updating the firmware to the latest version and tried swapping the drives around on the ports....but no luck. Strange thing is, when I have both hard drives plugged in I cant see either of them in Ubuntu, but ofc when I unplug the drive I would like to install, the other one works flawlessly. The drive I am trying to install has just come out of my main rig and I know it works fine. Any advise is much appreciated.

Just be careful with these controllers. Mine was ok for a year or so then just started falling over saying random drives were bad when they weren't etc. There's a reason they're so cheap. Netcell also went out of business a long time ago.
