Netflix and surround issues

All over.
I've been having some issues lately with Netflix and 5.1 where everything just plays in stereo.

I've got an LG B7 OLED passing through a Denon AVRX2300 via ARC into a 5.1 system.

Recently all Netflix titles have reverted to Stereo on my receiver using the LG Netflix app. Trying Netflix on my Bluray works fine, although I don't get HDR.

Has anyone else had this issue? I've done the switch it off and on again. Any advice would be a great help.

I have same TV and amp and haven't had this issue.

You've already ruler out the amp.

That would mean it's likely to be something in the sound settings on the TV or the app.

I have pass through HDMI/optical set to auto on my TV.

Try another streaming app to rule out ARC as the problem.

Just tried Amazon Prime Video and YouTube and both also only play in stereo. However, Freeview HD plays in surround.

So it looks like it's a streaming app issue on the TV.

Any ideas? Reckon I should reinstall the apps or could it be a LG firmware issue

Edit: NowTV and iPlayer app plays in surround. Well confused...

If the amp is displaying Surround it may well be upmixing a stereo signal from the other apps.

Try pressing the yellow PURE bu on the amp remote until it displays Auto and try again.
