Netflix foreign subtitles?

Hello, I recently started watching the unit on Netflix and there's an awful lot of non English languages but no translations shown.

Am I missing an option somewhere as I can only see the option to turn on subs for everything. Which gets annoying.

Google fu let me down.

Any ideas?

From what I can see its all or nothing subtitles wise. There is an extra option for subtitle appearance in you profile settings but afaik its just the visual style.

IIRC the unit has 2-3 episodes at the start that have extended foreign language sections but its less common for most of the rest of the show, the odd episode aside.

Balls it appears as though majority of episodes if the language isn't English they don't show any captions at all as if there's nothing going on.

I guess its just a clean (ie no "open caption") shown to all countries with netflix subs optional

Guess I have to either guess what they're saying or acquire the box sets annoying

Edit: arrgh brilliant fingers crossed its English for the majority of the rest. If its Russian or French I stand a chance but not with the de facto terrorist language of Arabic
