Netgear 632 firmware problem

Hi all
Last night i was trying to update my firmware on my modem/router and my pc hung during the installation now i can not connect to my setup page and my LAN port is saying 'little or no conectivity'
Have i managed to screw my router or can this be recovered?

Thanks i found the reset button last night but it didnt really help. I then thought i would try connecting through the usb rather than the lan port and it worked, which i found a bit strange as all i put in was my isp login name and password, not any of the other required info like static ip, gateway ip, dns ect???
I checked the lan port on my computer and its reporting as working properly until i connect it to the router.
Does the lan and the usb part of the router use different firmware as it seems strange that one should work and not the other
