When i first turn on my pc my Netgear DG834 has no connection to the internet when i then restart my pc it has connection this happens every time i first turn on my pc, so i want to know if anybody has any ideas on how to fix this problem as it is anoying me now.

Is it the Router thats has no connection or just your computer?
It sounds fairly improbable that turning off/on a connected device would affect the Router's internet connection.
Are you getting a valid IP when you first turn your computer on?

I get a really stupid thing with my NetGear to sometimes, when i turn my PC on i get no internet, MSN starts to sign in then just stops as theres no connection, no net at all, have to switch my PC off, unplug the RJ45 from my PC and plug it back in, then switch it back on and voila, ive heard its a common prob though with routers and bittorrent (or just the NetGears), doesn't happen that often like maybe once a month or something so im not really bothered about it, its just ******* stupid.
