netgear DG834G

Hi,

I am just about to join ZEN and was told that my USB speedthotch 330 is not suitable although it will work so I thought I would get a wireless router/modem from them at the same time but this will only be for using a sony PSP and maybe my xbox360 so will it be ok for doing them.

Just had a look at the ZEN website and they do not state if the netgear is a DG834g or a DG834g V2 so would i be beter to get the V2 from somewhere else just to be sure.

Get a Belkin 7633UK4A - I replaced my Netgear DG834G with it and I find it better for longer lines. Shorter lines there is little difference but longer lines 35dB Attn upwards, the Belkin's chipset is superior.

There is no difference between the DG834G v1 and DG834G v2 apart from aesthetics - they both use the same chipset - it was only a cosmetic revision change.

the netgear v1 has been discontinued a while back so most certainly be getting the v2.
