Netgear DG834GT Problem

Hi,
Have had to replace my old netgear router with the one above do to thunder storm. The new one after a day or two will not let me get on to the internet. If I turn it off then on again it works. It has done this 3 times now. Any help or advise what is causing this, and a solution..

Common problem with that router, mine used to do it constantly. Ended up getting rid of it.

Yeah mine did this a lot too. I downgraded it to firmware 1.01.28 and disabled uPnP which made it a lot better but I haven't used it for a while now.

Mine did the same, so I got rid of it and replaced it with a Billion.
