Netgear router - limiting bandwidth for users?

Hi there,

A friend of mine needs to limit a users bandwidth on his network via the Netgear router. What tab/option should he be looking for?

You cant on these routers. Your better off getting a router which has QoS or setting up a dedicated linux box which acts as a router and limiting it that way

Can you not firmware flash with tomato or DDWrt.

Not the Netgears..Get a WRT54GL though and you can use the netgear as a modem.
