Netlimiter Lite

Hey i just brought Netlimiter Lite to put on my Sister's Laptop as she keeps hogging up all our upload speed, making Xbox Live / Online PC gaming lag for me.

However after setting the Download and Upload limits on Netlimiter, when i restart or turn on her Laptop the limits i set prior vanish, so thats means every time she turns on her laptop i have to sneak in her room and set the limits again.

Which of course i can't do all the time !!

So basicly how to i save the limits i set ?

Serouisly at a my witts end, can anyone help ? Thanks

what is she uploading?

if it's illegal, tell your parents that she's doing it, or admin her machine up and give her a limited user

No theres not

, a Program like Netlimiter is the only way to solve my lag issues.

And no she isnt even downloading that much its more going on msn, webcam to her mates ( I hope

) that hogs my precious upload speed.

Switch her laptop to 'sleep' mode instead of 'switch off' when she shuts the lid or presses the power button....

you could change her net settings to use static IP address with no default gateway and point the internet settings at a proxy server on your machine (analogx proxy is simple and free).

Then you can install netlimiter on your machine and limit the proxy app whenever you want.
