Network Analyzer

I am after a bit of software that will allow me to view the traffic over a network and what bandwidth is being used (need to monitor up & downstream ) anyone got any suggestions

DUMeter et al will do the job, but they have to be installed on the machine you're trying to monitor.

should have said i also need to be able to do it for mulitple IP addresses at once

You're going to need some kind of central device (managed switch, linux box) that'll kick out that kind of data then, or something like NathanE's app.
