Went down today to pick up some bits and bobs and there is a bargain bin full of network goodies. Picked up a ZyXel 2302R VOIP for £5+vat 
Pluged the wan into a Thomson 546 (£7.50+vat) and now got a working VoIP setup, setup an account with Internetcalls.com and now get free uk calls.
Only bad thing is its the lower ZyXel model so you can't plug in regular phone line
