Network Camera/IP Address question

Hi,

I'm trying to setup a network camera (a webcam with its own IP address). I've got the camera connected to my router, with the IP address currently as 192.168.0.10 - obviously this is only accessible to my internal network. I know what my IP address is through http://whatismyipaddress.com/ but I can't use this for the camera.

How could I find out the IP address for the camera, so that it can be accessed from outside of my home network? Or, how could I give it an IP address, that is accessible beyond my home network?

Tom

Set-up port forwarding on your router to forward requests.

You'd then type in the IP address of your router when away from home and the router would forward the requests to the camera.

What router have you got?
