Sorry: p

I'm currently working as a 1st Line Support Desk Analyst following a redundancy of working as a field based desktop technician for 5 years.

I'm looking to move to a Network Technician/Administrator role, I know my first role is going to be a basic position but it's still my foot on the ladder.

I have a basic understanding of networking fundamentals and ideas however very little technical knowledge and this is something I'd like to increase but I'm unsure which is the best route to take here.

My brain is fried looking at all the different certifications, some I've been looking at are N+, MCITP and CCNA. I know getting into a basic role will be mainly supporting and administrator in a Windows Server based environment so I’m thinking an N+ followed by the MCITP?
