Hi there, I'm looking for a rough figure based on peoples experiences with this type of job role based on the following criteria.. It'll be my first job after i graduate (did 1 year placement at the company) so I've not got a clue really..:o The company employs about 90-100, and IT would consist of 2 people including myself. I'd be involved/joint responsible for pretty much everything besides the ERP/CRM systems, so clients, service desk, SAN admin, other application servers, vmware, backups, avaya voip system etc. The firm is in the mid/north..

Thanks for any responses! :D

Jesus Christ, £32k really? I need to be having words if so. I'm the sole IT employee at our place so look after everything to do with IT for around 50 staff over three sites. Plus I do pretty much all of the graphic design work and also look after all of their website content and social media and I don't get paid a sniff near that!

32k seems a bit steep fresh out of uni.

Although Wales salaries are pretty poor compared to everyone else's :(

Need to move to the outskirts of London. Lol, they get royally minted there.

Depends on area, what type of business they are public private, how well they are performing financially and how generous they are.

Fresh out of uni I started quite low and had to work my way up through 2 jobs one for 4 year and this one coming on 4 years but i do have a lot of experience now i have done a 4 year stint in a DC. Should hopefully give me a lift in my next challenge when i have the motivation to move jobs.

32k does seem rather high given the circumstances (no matter how much i would like it to be true!:p) I was initially contemplating going for maybe 23-25k, just wanting to accurately gauge it so i don't over/underball

This wouldn't happen to be a small engineering firm on the Sheffield/Derbyshire border would it?

If so, £24k would be about right!

So what's the name of said company out of interest? I work on the Derbyshire/Sheffield border :p.
