Network Hanging On Boot Up?

Hello when i load my computer up it hangs on the desktop for about 2mins untill the internet (connected through ethernet) springs into life.

I know this has happened to me before and i changed a setting and it all worked fine, does anyone know what that setting is?

If you open my computer, its not searching for dead mapped drives per chance is it? I know this isnt the reg hack you might be waiting on, but from experience its certainly a drag when a shared resource is offline temporarily.

No the computer is not on a network. Its just got its own ethernet internet connected too it.

Ive seen this problem a few times i think, theres an option somewhere that diasbles something and all is fine again!
