Hey guys,
Well the story is that I want to set up my two computers to have network places and printer sharing. I have done this before but I left it and got a new computer and cannot seem to get it working again.
Ok so here is my problem I have run the network setup wizard on both computers assigning the same work group and so on. I have also enabled sharing for certain files and folders and also a printer. So this is where it does wrong, on one computer (lets name it computer 1) I can find the other computer (computer 2) when trying to search/add stuff, but when I try and go to find a folder in that computer or try and find the printer they don’t appear and a message appears
"\\computername is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this network resource..... The network path was not found..."
Now I try the same thing on my other computer (computer 2), and it finds the workgroup but won’t open it. Also searching for (computer 1) nothing comes up.
I am really confused about this as I got it working easily last time. I’m probably missing something obvious.
