That's fair enough then.
As for the speakers; the Wharfedale 11.1 were near around £280 at launch, so I'd be surprised if they are not a better speaker than the 220's. Of course, you've already got the latter, so whether it's worth shelling out £200 is a difficult thing to answer. Certainly having a demo is best way to go about it.
Monitor Audio speakers hold their value more, in that they don't see much of a price reduction compared to Wharfedale's speakers. Possibly because Monitor Audio is seen as a more prestigious brand, in that they make budget speakers but also some very expensive ones. Bronze 2 are still £280 as there were at launch a few years ago. That doesn't mean they are better though, because it entirely comes down to preference.
I remember a few years ago before the Bronze 2's came out, there was the Bronze BX2. They were near EOL, so the price did come down to only a bit more than what the Wharfedale 9.1's were. BX2's were technically a better speaker, and on some forums people asked which was the better choice. Some preferred the BX2's, but even thought the 9.1's were supposedly inferior, there were people who preferred the sound of the 9.1's.
To cut the story short; rely on your own ears, not anyone else's.
