Shouldnt you be doing the research into it then yourself? using your own ideas and findings backed up by proper references rather then getting others to simply tell you everything.

A good knowledge of network security comes with knowing best practices for implementations, for example, firewall configurations, standard workstation images, antivirus, spyware software, regular patch management, physical security, user education, and so on.

What you need to do is use your Athens account (given the question I'm assuming you're doing a college/uni course) and go read some journals. I suggest you start with your librarian to point you in the right direction.
