Network tweaks for Windows 7

Maybe it's just me, but I feel pings when gaming are ever so slightly higher in Win 7 than it was on my XP SP3 installation. For example on a certain BF2 server my ping is pretty much always between 16 and 19, but after going to Win 7 it fluctuates between 18 and 30. This is on a wired 100mbps LAN connection.

Are there any tried and tested network tweaks for Windows?
