Hello

Possibly a really easy question and likely to have been asked before but I couldn't find anything of use on the search function.

Well, do any of you know of a program that can monitor network useage that breaks down the useage per connection?

In other words a piece of software that continually tracks network useage that I can monitor at the end of the month and log how much data has been transferred using Wifi, mobile broadband, ethernet connection etc.

Hope this makes sense and has an easy answer!

Thanks

If this is to run on your PC then there are loads out there, take your pick.

If you're not interested in GUI systeminfo command can give you byte counts. Not sure if that's since boot or since you manually reset the counters.
I would check for you but i'm getting this: >.<
U:\>systeminfo
Loading Network card Information ...
ERROR: Provider load failure.
Which is most unhelpful. Most Mobile broadband driver software can display your usage stats. I know for sure Vodafone does.

take a look at ntop - http://www.ntop.org/

im not sure if it is what your after, but you install on a gateway device and it breaks down all the connection info for different types and displays it in a friendly way.
