Hi,

Hoping for some help if possible. Upstairs i have my PC, my cable modem and my wifi router. All works perfectly.

However, downstairs I have a device which i need to connect to my network and it doesn't have wifi, only ethernet. I don't want to run a cable through my house so what options do i have ? I've got a spare wifi router.....can i somehow connect the 2 routers together via wireless and put the 2nd one downstairs (it has ethernet ports as well which would solve the issue).

Sorry if this is a noob question.

Some routers support wireless bridging which is what you've described.

If itwere me I'd use powerline adapters
