So, after 3 and a half miles jog, we went boxing straight after.

Did the usual, we went round every bag in gym and did 3 minutes of each bag. I got into the ring for an intensive sparring session. One of the guys, named John is probably the strongest brawler in the whole of sheffield. He's trained with a lot of champs and his style is brawling. Que 5 minutes of grappling and getting battered he went for a stupidly powerful combination one of which landed on my manhood.

I've always known it's painful but damn!!! I almost dropped in the ring and I had to sit out. I feel hurt . . really hurt :o

Anyone else been struck, in the most gentle place known to man?

Never

I've been kicked in the nuts but I've never taken a beating in the ring.

I once cracked someone's pelvis with a knee to the family jewels.

You must have really hated them

Think most guys have been hit there, but mabye not in that way. It normally makes you feel pretty sick anyhow, just lie still or something for a while.

Getting a kicking in the balls is a really weird experience, it's a really different type of pain. It's not like breaking your hand or getting a nasty cut, or even getting punched in the face. It's a really unpleasent crampy tingle feeling that has actually made me physically sick after I once got whacked in the jewels in a game of football.

I'd rather have my arm broken.

Have I told you lately that I love you?

No. :(

Your anecdote just reminded me when I booted my mate in the arse, he was in pain for weeks. I reckon I cracked his coccyx but he never got it checked out.

Something i've wondered though, we all know it hurts, but would it be the same with any organ? For instance, most internal organs are protected with muscle and/or bones, but if say your kidneys were in a bag between your legs  , would that hurt just the same? I imagine they are all pretty sensitive if exposed

well, i crashed my racebike at 160mph(hit oil in the wet!), and hit the back of another bike who was travelling 70mph ish slower with my back right where my kidneys were.

luckily i didnt break my back (back protectors work wonders!!!) but it winded me so bad i physically couldnt move. as in, couldnt move my head, arms/legs anything. i couldnt even breath for 10 mins. all i could do for 30mins was wiggle my fingers and toes. that was a different kind of pain again though... not pain so much, as i couldnt really feel anything. guess it was fear that kinda numbed the pain.

Did anyone play "snips" in School/college

Just when you recover from the last flick in the balls another one comes right your way.

...Is that a public school thing...?

My girlfriend seems obsessed at times with hitting my balls.

I tell her every time not to do it again as she has no idea how much it hurts. She just tells me to get over it because I don't have to go through childbirth.

Annoys the hell out of me. So ignorant to how it can make you feel sick afterwards and the initial pain which is prolonged and carried right up to your stomach :(
