Never Settle Game delays

Hi Guys,

I have just tried to claim my Never Settle Bundle that i got with my MSI Twin Frozr 7950 card and the email that i received says something about there being a delay in the Steam code for Bioshock and Farcry.

Is this normal? I would have thought any initial delays would be long cleared by now as the promotion has been running for a long time. Also the games are relatively old now too?

Anybody recently had the same problems?

Lee

Seems to be complete luck of the draw as to when you'll get the codes. Some of mine were "delayed"; was then sent them all a few hours later.

I have been waiting for Bioshock since the beginning of August. I have emailed them but nothing more than an Automated response saying the codes will be sent soon.

Useless AMD.

We are working with Irrational Games to secure additional game codes. All game codes will be delivered to every user who is entitled to them. We appreciate your patience and understanding while we receive and load those keys into the system for mailing. :)

Looks like the problem lies with Irrational Games and explains why Bioshock had been removed from the current available gaming evolved titles.

This may or may not have something to do with it. :p

Bioshock Infinite developer Irrational Games has reduced its staff in a round of job cuts.

In a statement acquired by Kotaku, Irrational states that eight employees have been let go. The cuts were made in order to 'streamline' processes at the studio.

Irrational is currently working on two downloadable content packs for Bioshock Infinite which will bring the game's two main characters, Booker and Elizabeth, to the original Bioshock's iconic underwater city, Rapture. Development on this has not been affected by the job losses.

These sorts of reductions in workforce are not uncommon after the release of a major title.

Bioshock Infinite launched in March this year and was met with a warm critical reception and positive sales. During March, it sold 878,000 units, not including digital sales on Steam, where it was also the top selling game on the platform during its launch week. Take Two reported in its financial statements that the game had shipped more than 4 million copies by the end of July.

As well as the two in-production DLC packs, the game has already had one content release in the form of Clash in the Clouds back in July.

Other studios have recently been cutting jobs. In August, Tomb Raider developer Crystal Dynamics cut around 12 staff that were working on non-Tomb Raider projects and more recently Sony Online Entertainment cut an unspecified number of staff across the company.
