Never using Cablemod again

So I bought a Cablemod Pro cable kit a while back, no issues.

Now, with all the talk about the next generation of GPUs (at least at the top end) requiring three 8-pin connectors, I decide to look into sourcing an additional one to match the two that came in my kit.

Of course none of their UK distributers (such as OCUK) sell individual cables so I go to their website where it lets me order whatever I want.

Spec it up, comes to €37 including shipping, for one cable! But no, it's worse than that because their site won't accept an order for less than €69.

So basically I have no way of sourcing an additional cable to match my existing kit, should I need one for my next GPU, without spending a fortune on parts I don't need and exorbitant shipping.

Totally hopeless and I will never buy anything from them again and warn friends to stay away.

Ask them to make an exception to the minimum order, being a loyal customer. Explain they will loose a lot of customers as the situation was forced by nvidia.

Maybe, I have emailed them about it and got an initial "sorry but tough" type response. I've mailed them again after discovering the minimum order threshold and that I'd have to spend €85 to get anything from them.

If the rumours prove true and NVidia starts using triple 8-pins (I know some aftermarket cards already do but if NVidia does it as standard I mean) then they need to start shipping them over to retailers like OcUK in bulk so we can buy them as add-ons.

Not sure what the rules are here but could we organise a group buy if others are in the same boat?

Apparently that's only for some OEM cards I believe, retail ones will generally stick with the existing 8-pin.
On topic of the connector's proliferation, in addition to PSU manufacturers launching new generations of products with 12-pin connectors, most prominent manufacturers are expected to release aftermarket modular cables that can plug in to their existing PSUs. Graphics card vendors will include ketchup-and-mustard adapters that convert 2x 8-pin to 1x 12-pin; while most case/power manufacturers will release fancy aftermarket adapters with better aesthetics.

From the same link above.
