Quality. Some one has to buy them! :p

Can you buy these 08 plates to put straight onto retention or do they have to go straight onto a car?

yeah when you buy them they are effectively on retention for upto 12 months, then if they are not transfered to a vehicle you have to pay a yearly fee which i forget how much it is, iirc i was £80 to keep mine on retention for a short time whilst i changed cars

One of the partners at work has ordered a new CLS 63 AMG with the plate OO 08 AMG - how cool?!

Im suprised that M3 CSL plate has been sold yet. Theres bound to be an owner out there that wants a perfect plate for thier CSL, even the E46 flavour.

I hate the fact that you cant put a new style plate on an older car. Such as, BJ55 CAR cant be put on a car older that Sept 05 :(

For £15,000 I'm not surprised at all its still for sale.

Good investment if you have a E46 CSL or an E92 CSL on order as BMW says they 'will' do it late 08/09
Good investment? Great as the plate is, would it really add £15k to a thus plated CSL's value?

Reminds me of that £45k Sierra RS500 Reg No. "500 RS" - I doubt that went for anything like the asking price.

Gibbo - You tempted? and just out of curisoity, what would that plate be worth to you as a CSL owner?
