Hi people
Upgraded from 7970s in crossfire with the intention of buying a 4k monitor as soon as I've saved up.
So I'm currently playing at 1440p on a normal 60hz monitor and I have seen the expected increase across demanding games that I'd hoped however my most played game is now a stuttering mess! - Rocket league.
If I turn off gsync it runs around 240fps so it's not a performance issue but on or off I have a game ruining stutter that drops about 5fps but disrupts the whole flow of the game....it's like someone pressing pause then unpause every so often
After googling this issue I have tried:-
Running in performance mode in windows
Disabling speedstep in bios
Disabling Nvidia inspector
Disabling fraps
Changing Nvidia driver settings for multi displays
Capping fps in game at 59
Playing with steam friends offline.....
It was smooth as silk with my crossfire setup and a bit gutting tbh for the amount I paid.....
Any more things I can try??
