Hello there:-) looking at getting a samsung 1tb hard drive to replace my raptor 74gb 8mb cache boot drive with 2partitions (c: and d:)for windows and programs! Now also i have a 160gb ide drive which is split into 3partitions which holds my games install directory/music/convert video folder. Now i want to clone the 5partitions of about 230gb data to the new drive bearing in mind 1is my boot drive. Now can anyone advice any software that actually works and is gonna do this and also allow my comp to boot up like normal when the new drive is installed and the 2older drives removed. Also its the samsung F1 drive im looking at getting so if anyone thinks any other drive would be better please let us know or advice in general in what im about to do:-)

Acronis Trueimage should allow you to split up the new HDD then clone your existing partitions over to them easliy.

the boot section of the HDD will be cloned as an active partition so whent he old drive is removed the new drive will become C:

With regards to the other stuff sound just like data so you should just be able to clone your C: and them copy the rest over manually.
remember to change all your filepaths if youve changed them, should be easier that way as you can make sure each partition gets the correct letter as Im thinking that the game insatlls will be pretty picky with install paths, however this is not always the case.
