new 2500k. different programs showing different voltages.

hi just installed my new 2500k and msi z68a gd65.

just going for quick clocks to understand the bios etc.

ive set cpu voltage in bios 1.3 and booted up at 4.5ghz

anyway im running linX and monitoring temps but cpu-z is recording my cpu volate at 1.296 but coretemp is reporting a VID of 1.4?

am i ok to trust this? run a quick pass of linx no problems so far.

CPUZ will be as accurate as software sensors can be.

is 4.5 at 1.3v any good?

VID is not the same as vcore

Fairly typical I would think if that's what it needs to be stable.

this was just a quick run of linX. i usually do a quick run to get a idea of stability then run prime.

gonna start to lower the volts to see how low it will go.
