I dont think they will catch on with the bundles as i would guess it would at a later date come packaged with all consoles. Maybe its green because thats the xbox colour? however foul and snotty it may look ^_^.

Seems its the same, just with a larger range. I still don't like the stick-type approach of the 360 d-pad. Why can't they just use four flat buttons?
Shoryukens are an absolute pain in the arse to pull off on the normal 360 d-pad. :/

No way I could pull of the "ism" moves in SF Alpha and later with an analogue stick. Anyone who can do Zangeifs barrel roll gets my congrats

The pad is Green because it is part of a promotion to go alongside pro evo on october 23rd and will only be available for a limited time.
You can fix the 360 Dpad yourself with a needle file and some patience just file the white ring around the Dpad to make it thinner and it works perfectly

Best control pad ever for Street Fighter.
The Xbox 360's D-pad is ridiculously inaccurate. I don't think I've ever played Pro Evo with the D-pad though. What's the advantage?
Except they were horribly uncomfortable after a while.

The Japanese saturn pads were the finest 2d pads for street fighter.
Slightly smaller and squarer thean the one pictured and they worked like a dream the D-pad had a really nice rubber coating and once they were broken in they were quality, I still use mine now and cannot believe how good they really are

I do, Dragon Uppercut, And other moves that need precise movement require the Dpad, Or atleast I feel so. If you can do them all on the analogue great. I cant, Well I can. But not as easily as with Dpad, and sometimes I fail
Dont understand why its a limited edition and not available in the US ( their biggest market)? Maybe to admit they're going to change them all would be like admitting there was a problem in the first place, bit like sony saying rumble is last gen then sticking it in the DS3 lol. (Not exactly the same but hope you get the point)

It's marketed as a PES09 controller/bonus and PES 2009 (and most other soccer games) do not sell well in USA, so it makes sense it is not released in the USA.
Thing is all they will end up doing is making this crappy limited edition and then there will be silly people selling them for silly money on auction sites. I can;t think that is good advertising for MS tbh. I am sure they will concede on this or just change existing controllers. Much like Sony "apparently" had bad analogue stick controls and when they released DS3 they sneaked the changes into normal controllers as well.
Also, anyone who says they are ace at games like SF on the dpad must be rubbish or have low standards. These games are designed for digital/microswitched controllers/pads. Playing the games with an analogue stick is akin to plugging in one of those convertors that tries to have a mouse/keyboard replicate movements in FPS games (I forget the name of the product).

they changed the original xbox controller
d pad is rubbish but i dont use it its last gen
