This is the only BMW I have ever truly looked at and thought, Wow. I do like the look of this, a lot. The front is really nice.

How many lines do they want on that thing? Looks like they couldn't decide which designer's line they wanted and took them all instead:
1 line through the door handle
1 line from off-centre of the bonnet to bottom of windscreen
1 line from inner-top of headlight up the A pillar
1 line from outer-top corner of headlight running all the way down the car and around the boot lid.
1 line off the front wheel arch going diagonally down to middle of door then across.
1 line across the body skirt under the door.
And they're only the bigger lines - there's lots of smaller ones (on the front bumper, rear bumper etc) - sure some of the ones I've pointed out have to be there but seems overkill otherwise

It looks nice but this new shape front and side remind me too much of a CL class and the CL is prettier and meaner at the same time!
Much prefer the current (previous?) 6 shape, much more meatier:
