Hi chaps, this is my situation.
In my man I have one ethernet connection which is running from the router in the house.
So I have a 5 port switch box in the man cave giving me extra connection availability.
Now I need a good Wi-Fi connection in the man cave for the garden area in general, plus for my camera system.
Being advised by a wiser person I have purchased an Access point TP Link EAP110 300Mbps Wireless-N as I do not require anything faster.
Now this is the question, If I give the AP the same ssid and password will this stop me having to reconnect
to the house Wi-Fi and the AP Wi-Fi?
Just looking for one seamless connection, is this possible.
Thank you.

It's the closest you'll get.

The individual devices will decide when they want to switch access points. Some handle it better than others and you sometimes need to force it by toggling the device's wireless.

So I have run into a problem, when I turn the man cave pc off it effects the access point connection.
If the pc is on I can see the cctv system in the man cave anywhere in the house or garden, if I turn the pc off it will not connect - perhaps a ip problem somewhere?
But the access is running through a switch box which is connected to the router in the house, so I cannot see why this problem is present.
Any ideas peeps?

Ermmmm, Bell end moment detected.
Would seem I pugged the switch box into a power lead which I switch off when leaving the man cave doh!
Oh my, but thanks Bremen yet again I owe you a beer for sure.
