New addition

Very nice. Really like those wheels but not so keen on the white. How do you find he PDK?

So many great second hand deals in the UAE. My friend just bought a 997 Turbo for 34k. Took him a while to find the right one as nearly all second hand models have had 1 previous owner - arab, spend all his time doing traffic light GP and generally not looking after them very well.

If you own that for more than 6 months, then decided to move back to the UK, would you have to pay import duty and VAT?

Thanks Panthro - the PDK is good, super quick changes. Driving it in the manual mode with the buttons on the steering wheel is a bit awkward, but shifting with the stick is fine.

I was also offered an 07 Turbo for similar money but they do have a bit of a hard life over here. Not sure about importing to the UK - but I am here for a few more years yet.

@uniQ - thanks mate. Will look to get some proper photos once it has been detailed

@Meatball - thanks mate

@mjt - thanks for the pick up :D

I suppose the demand is too high being dubai.

Leading to an excess of 2nd hand models on the market as all the oil bajillionaire's trade in for new models :)

I think you mean supply is high:p

Nice car. White is defo the way to go in Dubai.

High demand in new cars leading to an excess in supply of used ones as they all get P/X'd in :)

And because its quite a wealthy country, all the demand is for new ones, so the values of 2nd hand ones fall through the floor.

How does the stick work with PDK?

I was under the impression that it was a far from wealthy country, just incredibly slanted and backed up by legal slavery.

Dark side of Dubai was very eye opening and anyone who works there must pay serious attention to their morals imo.

I'm no expert. But from what i've seen on the TV there are plenty without money, but still plenty with it.

Ah, well, supposedly a lot of that is a facade and that outside of developed areas live the majority of the population working as slave labour, sometimes in plane sight, such as maids and nanny's.
