New alarm clock. What's yours?

I have three alarms, each offset by a couple of minutes:

i) Old Phillips radio/alarm clock, mains powered. VERY LOUD. People shouting in my room will always wake me up.

ii) Little battery powered alarm clock with an annoying pattern of bleeping. I put it at the bottom of my stairs, so I have to get up, leave my bedroom and go downstairs to turn it off.

iii) BT alarm call. Even if there's a power cut and the batteries on the second clock run out overnight, the phone in my bedroom will wake me up.

Dire Straits ringtone, ohhh yeahhh ;)

Mobile playing Still Alive. I wake up to the melodious tones of GLaDOS every morning :D

I use my iphone as my alarm. Putting it under my pillow means I get a blaring alarm and a juddering rumble. Never failed me.

Functional concept but aren't worried about frying your brain with the phone around 7 hours close to your head??

Having said that I should post some scientific evidence to prove phones actually do fry your brain, on my bike to do so...

I've got this Philips one with a mirrored face to it, can't find a picture that does it justice online, but it's quite nice and elegant.

I did have one of the Philips Wake Up Light alarm clocks, where it has a light that slowly wakes you up before the alarm. Trouble is, it uses a particular 100W bulb that is now getting quite hard to find as a result of the European ruling. The sound effects you can have, such as 'Sea', 'Birds' etc are pretty terrible quality. Finally it 'crashes' often, the light will sometimes not come on, you then have to unplug it from the wall, plug it back in and it works again for maybe a day or two.

Did try to contact Philips about it, but they never got back to me, despite a two years warranty on it.

I have this one by Karlsson. It's very small, minimal and loud enough to wake me up. Has a built in thermometer as well which is handy.
