New AMD build LOG - Any help please :)

Hi,

I will put up pictures when I get a chance, but needed a bit of help with my new build.

Case - Lancool PC-K62
CPU Cooler - Corsair H50-1
MOBO - Asus M4A79XTD Evo

The problem I have is the above MOBO has 3 places to put the fan connectors, the case itself has 3 fans and the H-50 has 1. I have put the h-50 one on the CPU fan place on the MOBO, but this leaves me with only 2 more. Will i need an adaptor to let me plug 2 into 1 (e.g Phobya Y-Cable 3Pin Molex to 2x 3Pin Molex 30cm UV Green Braided Cable)?

My other question is with the pump for the H-50, does anyone know where to put this on the above MOBO since it needs constant power supply (same connection as a fan - 3 pin)???

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

the pump needs to go on one of the fan headers aswel and pref not the cpu one as this one can vary its speed just stick the pump on one of the other 2.

You'll have to get some 3 pin to molex connections so you can power your other fans if you don't have enough headers on the board

Go to the local purple shirt place and get some 4pin molex to 3pin fan, plug the case fans straight into the psu.

Akasa do a cable on this site for £2.64, it allows four fans to connect to one 4pin molex.

Unfortunately p+p probably costs more than the item, any local shops?

Maybe phone overclockers up, tell them your order number, tell em you really need this item, and can they stick it in a first class envelope?
