**NEW AMD PILEDRIVER CPU's NOW AVAILABLE!!**

wats the bit up roar for the power draw when overclocked??

Its only like having a high end GPU in your system.

If your that bothered about how much power it draws go put some solar panels on your roof.

300W in nothing compared to a tuble dryer / dish washer / power shower.
But then that means in turn if you are doing a new build, you will then need to spend more on a bigger PSU. If you have a high end gpu, the processor, few hard drives etc it'll be pulling a lot more watts than most.

that's y I have a 750w in already.

300 gpu
300 cpu

150w for mobo and hard drives

I believe that the figures quoted are at the wall ie total system power not just cpu power draw. my system with a 1090T when fully clocked draws a fraction of 300w and piledriver is not going to require 2 or 3 times that load. A 500-600w PSU with one graphics card will be more than enough.
