I'm ready!! :) :)

Can remember the first anno I had, loved it, many many hours spent on it.
Last one I remember was 2070, which I also enjoyed.

so far sop good! but where does one mine diamonds?!

You need to upgrade to the next corpo level as far as I remember then it lets you build diamond mines.

EDIT

Scratch that, you need 10,000 population in the temperate climate region then it unlocks, Can be placed on any mountain site.

Never played Anno 2205 but love 1404/1503/2070/1800, my brother and I currently have a 1800 game going on as he grabbed a couple of the dlc, so good, we're both very excited for this one.

I mean, Anno 1800 was very good. And please don't jinx the new HoMM.

Ubisoft have made some incredible Anno games, but Ubisoft as an overall company releasing games such as below isn't doing themselves any favours

Star Wars Outlaws
Skull and Bones
ass creed mirage

Assassins Creed Shadows is looking pretty awful thus far and it isn't even out yet :(

I'd argue the assassins creed games have always been awful

But then I'm not really a fan of most of Ubis games, with the outliers being the Anno series. I don't think there's an Anno I haven't enjoyed.

AC Shadows is pretty much dead on arrival, at this point , with views on many gaming forums and websites, it doesnt even matter now if the game were to be good...its already been put in the dumpster category mentally by many gamers.

Sadly, as is the way with many of the larger mainstream media/entertainment companies recently, they've rather lost their way.

I've never played any of the Anno games but I am a Classics geek - well, I used to be - so I'm going to be very interested in this.

I remember having a brief stint on one of the previous games and enjoying it, think that's an excuse to try again. Any particular highlights across the series (2205/1404/1503/2070/1800)?
