AOC CU34G2X/BK being dropped
Hi all,
Got the new range from AOC listed today. They should be landing over the next few weeks with only the AG273QZ due sometime in March.
1ms VA panels, 200Hz panels, HDR400 panels, curved ultrawides, there are some tasty specs here although no new IPS panels. Ofcourse the G2U range is available for fast IPS 1ms panels already.
Check them out and get your pre-orders on early to avoid disappointment!

Yep, it s a bit annoying to have zero news for more than a month..
I don't necessarily mind the wait given the circumstances. But it's unusual (to me) to have the money leave my account before a product is actually in stock, and with no known ETA on it.
When did you order? I want to but have no idea when it'll be back in stock
I ordered 3 days ago. My logic was that since it says pre order vs. out of stock, there is a chance it'll be in stock a bit sooner. Don't mind waiting if there's a known ETA.
I'm going to order one and I asked in Discord and they think for the curved around 20th May to come in stock. Unsure of the standard one.

To what extent are the Freesync monitors Gsync compatible?
Will be ordering the CU34G2/BK on payday cos my acer vg270hu died. Will it be in stock by the end of the month? Also whats the policy regarding dead/stuck pixels?
Also whats the policy regarding dead/stuck pixels?
Don't know is the answer. I've been asking the vendor and distys for info and they cannot provide it.

We do have 5 units coming in this or next week that I do know of but that's a drop in the ocean compared to the pre-orders.
If your graphics card can't run the panel at 144fps then it isn't worth itAt the moment I am playing mostly world of warships and Warhammer 2 and xcom 2 and phoenix point. Generally I don't play fast paced shooters and don't need very high refresh rates. However I am finding that my 60hz 4k monitor and 1440 monitor (75hz I think) aren't quite good enough particularly when looking down binocular view in world of warships. I don't know if the 100hz

will be good enough or do I really need 144hz at an extra expense of £80 which is sizeable.
